The Continuous Training Wing (CTW) core function is to support the professional development of officers and soldiers in the PNGDF.

The only course the Wing provides is the Instructor Development Course (IDC). The course is conducted over a period of two weeks and is aimed at preparing staff in taking up instructional duties when posted to JFA.

The Wing in the future will look into conducting other courses that support professional development for members of the PNGDF.
